SunshineSunshine is a small Welsh Pony type mare. We believe she looks almost like a purebred, but we have no registry papers and no way of knowing. She is an 11hh pony who originally came from the Kaufman KP in Texas and went to a private owner in Santa Paula. She was surrendered to us for financial hardship reasons with several other horses and ponies.
Sunshine loves people, is friendly, affectionate and level headed. We consider her horsenality to be mostly a left-brained extrovert. She is confident and does not spook at barking dogs, loud noises or street traffic. She can be impatient and demanding, as many pony mares are, but she is loving and sweet. Sunshine gets along with mares and geldings of all sizes. She would be an ideal partner for someone who would like to continue her education and train her to be ridden or pull a cart, do in-hand obstacles or practice Parelli-type natural horsemanship games consistently. As with all of our horses, Sunshine is current on her vaccines, dewormer, teeth exam and farrier trims. She is barefoot, sound, healthy and an easy keeper. He was surrendered to us for financial hardship reasons with several other horses and ponies.
Fritz is shy, reactive, sensitive and still learning to trust people. He was completely unhandled when we got him. We consider his horsenality to be mostly a right-brained extrovert. He can be fearful, dominant towards other horses and flighty. With consistency and time, Fritz bonds wholeheartedly with "his one person." Fritz's ideal partner is a kind, patient, consistent and gentle leader who will spend time with him daily and continue his education in natural horsemanship games consistently. He is looking for one person to love him and give him confidence, teach him to mend his broken heart and trust his human fully. He has a heart of gold and tons of try! As with all of our horses, Fritz is current on his vaccines, dewormer, teeth exam and farrier trims. He is barefoot, sound, healthy and an easy keeper.
