Rusty: 60 day challenge completedWe are proud to announce that Rusty has completed his first 60 Day Challenge activity with the Humane Society of the United States Forever Foundation Training Program. His foster boarding partner, Lori Warling, has really enjoyed working with him through the Ground Work Level and Rusty has progressed from a "blue" (knowing nothing), to a "yellow" (fairly well schooled) little pony. Rusty and Lori enjoyed working together daily to complete various natural horsemanship ground work activities using Parelli Natural Horsemanship tools and Carter Ranch Horse training techniques. Rusty is a much more solid and tolerant pony, and with expanded knowledge, is now being offered as a therapy pony for our Horse Powered Reading Equine Assisted Learning Program.
